My niece, Nicole Potts, died of cancer on January 30, 2003 at the age of 28. Many of my friends have been surprised by her story, so I'm posting an article which appeared in the Dallas Star-Telegram a few weeks before she died. I have known no one stronger than her, and I share the story of her life here in the spirit of helping us remember how important it is to make the most of what we're given.
